There are many musallah in Mindanao but most of them are badly in need of improvement. ACT Malaysia started renovating masajid in year 2011 after a community in Maguindanao pleaded to have its masjid fixed (this village was given a water well). The renovated Musalla Al-Abbas attracted more jamaah after it was painted, furnished with a PA system, fans, curtains and floor mats.There is no need to build new masjid. Renovation is cost effective and more attainable for the Muslims in Mindanao.

Alhamdulillah, Masjid Riyados Saleheen was improved

MASJID RIYADOS SALEHEEN
Brgy. Mungkas, Shariff Aguak, Maguindanao
January 2012 with more or less 100 jama'ah
Main problems fixed: 4 unit door, Gutter, some of the ceiling.
(Note: This surau still needs more improvement. 
The limited funds targeted the main problems only)





a hand water pump was already constructed here a year ago by ACT Malaysia






this musallah still needs to be painted and furnished with floormat, curtains and fans.
